Financial Advice Bureau is an Independent Financial Advice firm covering everything to do with money. I set up the firm in 1992 after 32 years experience of advising people about their money. Our belief is that the financial advice people receive is only marginally less important than the medical advice they receive from their Doctors and both must be accurate and as up to date as is possible.

There are two major ways of looking after ones health. In the Western World we use curative medical advice when we are ill. In China now and for many centuries before the birth of Jesus Christ they seek preventative medical advice. Indeed in some parts of China the public do not pay their physician when they are ill.

In the West we have the same attitude to our wealth as we do to our health. We do not think ahead then we attempt to cure our financial problems by buying curative policies from an insurance salesman.

It was only when I visited Harold Chapter on Friday last week that I even knew that they are BNI members.

I had problems with one of my office printers. This was not just a basic ink jet printer it was one that had cost me £1,400 when purchased new several years ago and it was the vital work horse of our printing system.

On advice from another BNI member I took the printer to Yarm computers for repair but I really thought it was past it’s time and nothing could be done to fix it.

I was wrong. Yarm computers not only fixed it but they did this quickly at reasonable cost. In my view the highest accolade I can give to any business is call them professional. Indeed Yarm Computers did a professional job.
